1) How old were you when you first decided you wanted to do music?
Mik3MIK3:I always had a thing for music from a very early age. But if I had to give specific age, I would say around 15 or 16 is when I was really like "Ok, I want to turn this into some."
2) Who would you say inspires you the most as an artist?
Mik3MIK3: I wouldn't say it's a certain person that inspires me because really I do it for everyone from the team to the family. But if I had to name a certain person that inspires me it would be my mom because she has done so much for me and my music. She's been supportive of everything from the jump.
3) Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Mik3MIK3: I see myself in 5 years touring working hard on whatever project I got going on at the time. I mean I can't really say too much about the future cause it's the future but I can tell you this ... I'm just getting started and I got no intentions on slowing down.
4) What artist would you like to collaborate with?
Mik3MIK3: I would like to get in the studio with Drake. I think he's a musical genius. One of the greatest artists in this new sound era. And his whole movement is stupid crazy. It's like no matter what he's involved in, his fans is going to support him 2 million percent.
5) What would you say is your biggest accomplishments?
Mik3MIK3: My biggest accomplish so far would have to be making it this far with my music career period. Like I never thought I would make it this far. This all started out as a hobby until the day I got 250 downloads (in one night with no promotion) that's when I really thought to myself "Mike you might be onto some good?"
6) What is the biggest thing in your life that you regret and wish you
Mik3MIK3: If I could go back in time and change anything, I wouldn’t change anything because I'm the type of person that believes that everything happens for a reason. Even though most of the time we don't know what the reason is, there's a reason.
7) What is 1 thing that you want fans to always remember you by?
Mik3MIK3: I just want my fans to have or build a connection with my music. Like you know how whenever you get upset, sad, or whatever you have a go to song or artist to listen to too bring you out that mind set or situation. I want to be that artist or create that song that has that type of connection with a fan. , For every type of emotion/feeling.
8) What is the hardest thing about being in the music industry?
Mik3MIK3:The hardest part about being in the music industry/business I would say is getting new people (business wise not fans) to support or buy into your movement. Like a lot of different venues and other people in the beginning were skeptical about doing business with me and my team because we were new to the industry but now that we're more established and have some connections with different people. Business is better!
9) What separates you from other artist out right now?
Mik3MIK3: I think the divider between me and other artists is I'm not afraid to explore outside my genre. I believe other artists are afraid that their fans are going think their switching up or whatever but that's not even the case. You are just trying to take your music to the next level as an artist.
10) If you weren’t doing music what would you be doing?
Mik3MIK3: If I wasn't doing music then I would try to pick back up on skating. I was good as hell at skateboarding; I probably would have tried to go pro.
11) When it comes to music what is one thing you wish you knew five years ago?
Mik3MIK3:I wish 5 years ago someone would have told me to pick up a book. I mean my mom always told me to read more but you know how that is. Goes in one ear and out the other, but one day I took her advice and bought a book on music business and etc. I promise after reading it, I was a completely different artist. I had a whole new business mind set.
12) Where is the strangest place a fan has every approached you?
Mik3MIK3: At a traffic light.
13) Have you been given any advice that’s stuck?
Mik3MIK3: The most recent advice that stuck with me is look at all the positive things you got going on in your life. Most people always complain about negatives or how they don't have this and don't have that. Just take some time out to look at all that you have. Then you'll realize you have more than or just as much as the average person.
14) How do you plan on changing the game?
Mik3MIK3: I don't want to give away to many details. So all I'm going to say is XOBVO. You'll get familiar.
15) Musically who are you mostly compared to?
Mik3MIK3: I don't want to be compared to any other artist. Because I want my chance to create my own name or identity. If you compare me to someone then every time you see or hear something of mine you’re going to automatically think of that person that you compare me to as well.
